New trier parking application

The parking application and payment is available online and will be emailed to eligible students selected via a random drawing at their SMCHS student email this morning . You will be asked to provide specific information and pay for the permit with a credit card. Parking permits for students with an ASB card are $100.00 and parking permits for students without an ASB card are $125.00.

Before purchasing your permit, please make sure you are eligible to purchase a parking permit. Permits purchased prior to eligibility will not be issued or refunded.

Parking spots for juniors are based on the number of remaining spots after senior parking permit sales have concluded. At this time, we have 100 parking spots available for junior students.

There has been a random drawing for junior parking spots, that list can be found by clicking here . Available spots will be sold to juniors in the order in which names were drawn, as availability allows. At this time we will be selling permits to the first 100 juniors listed on the random draw. Juniors will be contacted via their school email if additional spots become available based on the order of the random drawing. Parking permits available for juniors to purchase (front or back lot) are dependent on availability at the time of purchase. There is no need to contact the school requesting a permit.

Qualifying juniors and seniors who purchase a parking permit will be able to pick up their parking permits Monday, August 1 – Thursday, August 4 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Parking permits will be distributed at the Welcome Center in front of the Administration Building. Students who purchased the parking permit must come with their driver's license and receipt (e-ticket). Only the student who purchased the parking permit is eligible to pick up the permit. If a student cannot pick up their permit themselves, an adult may pick up the permit if they have the parking permit receipt (e-ticket) and a copy of the student’s valid driver's license.

Seniors and juniors unable to pick up their parking permits during the designated time (August 1 – August 4) must make arrangements by emailing parking@smhs.org .

If you have been selected for a permit but do not yet have a license, we cannot hold a spot for you. When you do get your license, please stop by the Attendance Office to check availability.

Students who qualify for and want a low-emission permit must specify on the application. Low-emission permits will be issued to those who qualify based on availability. There may be more requests for low-emission than spots available, parking on school days will be on a first-come basis. If all the LE spots are full on a particular day, the students will have to park in a regular spot. Click here to see if your vehicle qualifies for a preferred low-emission permit.
